History
       
1951   Kyoeisha was established by the founder and the first president, Masakazu Murakami,
at Aioicho 4-chome, Ikuta-ku, Kobe. The Company was engaged in on-site coating operations through the Building Coating Department and Ship Coating Department for construction companies such as Obayashi Corporation, Takenaka Corporation, Shimizu Corporation, Hosono Corporation, Hazama Corporation and Honda Construction Company.
The Company was also engaged in shipbuilding, repair and painting works for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and the Company conducted on-board cleaning operations.


1959   The Company introduced sandblasting technologies to deal with special inorganic zinc coating,
Dimet coating, in response to the increasing size of oil tankers. A new special coating department was established and merged. The Company provided special coating for Ishikawajima Shipyards, Nagoya Zosen and Osaka Shipbuilding Corporation.

 
1960   The Company merged with Nisshin Kogyo K.K. based in Ikuta-ku, Kobe.
Construction started on the Kure Office for the planned construction of a large-scale oil tanker at Kure for the U.S.-based NBC. The Company was engaged in sandblasting and special coating operations for the newly built and repaired vessels at Kure Shipbuilding & Engineering and for Mitsubishi Shipbuilding based at Eba in Hiroshima.


1964   The Company split from Nisshin Kogyo K.K. to establish Nisshin Kogyo Y.K. at 32, Nishi Uragacho 2-chome,Yokosuka-shi. The Company was engaged in undertook general coating and special coating based on sandblasting operations for newly constructed and repaired ships at the Uraga Dock, currently Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. The Company was also engaged in the repair of warships, on-board cleaning, sandblasting and special coating works in Yokosuka U.S. Naval Base. The Company commenced general coating operations for construction as well as coating operations for newly built ships and bridges for Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Shipbuilding.

 
1992   The Company restructured to become Nisshin Kogyo Co., Ltd.
